Why it exists
Aithos explores how generative AI and human art direction can give a digital collection a coherent character system. Each character connects visual identity with virtues, traits, a story and poetry.
Creative and product system
The project spans generative imagery and art direction, character and trait design, original narratives and poems, token metadata, Ethereum ownership and a dedicated website. The collection is deployed; future experiences should be evaluated separately from ownership of the current tokens.
Architecture and implementation boundary
This portfolio contains Aithos artwork, the case study and Aurora’s character integration. The collection website and smart-contract integration are separate systems. Their source code, contract implementation and metadata-generation pipeline are not in this repository, so this page does not claim a contract audit or describe unverified internals.
Technical challenges
Keeping character identity consistent across image, traits, metadata and prose is a central design concern. Ethereum ownership and a usable web experience add another product boundary. This repository demonstrates the link from one character’s traits into conversational behavior.
Security and ownership
Explore token and transaction details through the dedicated project. NFT ownership, intellectual-property rights and future access are separate questions; consult the published terms for the specific asset. This portfolio does not request a wallet connection.
Limitations
No persistent AI character memory, ownership-gated assistant or Aithos V2 runtime is shipped here. Collection-scale metrics, contract audit results and community impact are not asserted without supporting evidence.
Implementation lessons
A character is more than an image: traits, narrative and voice provide several ways to express identity. Aurora makes that connection tangible while exposing the additional work needed for persistent interactions.
Future direction: NFT → persistent AI character
Research will explore durable identity, memory, consent and ownership-aware interaction. This is the next architectural direction, not a feature included in the current collection experience.
